I face the past, present and future with the three graces of gratitude, love and excitement. I choose to make peace with these three aspects of my personal reality by forgiving the past, enjoying the present and embracing the future.
Start the new year with the mantra “I Am Releasing the Past; Living in the Present; and Looking Forward to the Future.”
A daily practice of forgiveness is the key to letting go of the past. Take a few moments each day to forgive even the slightest grievance or resentment you may be holding onto and imagine yourself embracing the person or situation you choose to forgive; then let it go.
To live fully in the present moment practice yoga and meditation. Simply by connecting your mind with your body, you will become more present.
Live in a state of gratitude to prepare yourself for the best possible future. If you’re not grateful for what you already have, it’s doubtful that you’ll be grateful when you get more.
Your past thinking and feeling creates your present reality and your present thoughts and feelings are creating your future reality. Make sure you’re thinking and feeling is producing the right frequency for what you want to create in your life.
The universe abhors a vacuum. Make room for what you want by letting go of what you don’t want. Let go of fear and the universe will fill the empty space with love.
It’s important to have something to look forward to in the future. This could be accomplishing a goal, taking a trip, starting a business, making new friends, buying a home, organizing your home, starting a new relationship, writing a book or enjoying a new sport or hobby, etc. What are you looking forward to in 2017?
If you have an unhealthy habit related to food or drink, replace the old habit that no longer serves you with a new habit that supports your health and well-being.
